Trip to Germany --> Part 2

Day 3:- We woke up at 5am in the morning, coz don want to wait for the bus, as the bus was scheduled to come at 9+ am...too late for us to go any where d~ So...wat silly, insane thing we did? we walk from the place we stayed, called Brennes, to the train station at Bayerisch Eisenstein, which, is 7+km from where we stay...
We planned to go to Czech Republic for a visit, because Bayerisch Eisenstein is situated on the border of Germany and Czech Republic.
Went to a place, which no body knows where, Spicak. It's kind of a place where the locals go for holiday, for hill climbing, or some elderly go there for a cup of coffee on top of the hill. Lots of German go to Czech because the exchange rate is very low~ it's bout 35 times smaller than Euro, and therefore, bout 7 times smaller than ringgit. In Spicak, we followed a group of primary school kids, coz they looked like having a holiday lead by their teacher and also, we don't know where can we go in the 1st place. We ended up riding a very very old chair lift, taking us up the hill. The view up the hill is awesome! Having our lunch on top of the hill....superb!! ^.^
Day 4:- Walked down hill from Brennes again early in the morning, start walking from 5am in the morning, because we planned to take the 1st train to Czech again...going to Plizen (which in english is Pilsen). It's quite a big city...but very very superly hot...I think it's about 30 degree celcius. Having no idea and basics in any of both German and Czech languages, we still managed to make our way to the destination we planned.
The Czech train going to Plizen is damn slow...i think it's worse than KTM in Malaysia(that's y I loved Malaysia more after my holiday). Anyway, there are lots of historical buildings in Plizen. Also, the city is well organised with beautiful garden where those westerners sun bath, read books under the red hot sun, give their dogs a walk...etc...etc. We have had our lunch in one of the historical looking building, which seems to be a high class restaurant~ordered 3 pastas, but end up being too full~:p It's quite cheap though~ compared to having that kind of lunch in Germany la~of coz~
We made our decision to shop for groceries in Czech, as we think that it will be cheaper compared to getting groceries in Germany itself. However, the groceries in Czech doesn't accept Euro. What to do?? exchange the money~ from Euro to Koruna in a bank.
Oh ya~ we also bought a box full of huge strawberries...almost as huge as my palm

Day 5:- This is the day where we are going for a cruise on the Danube river (which is also known as Danao in German). Erm...after 2 days of walking down hill from the resort, we finally decided that it's better for us to call the taxi, which took us up the hill to the resort on the 1st day we reach...it's 12 euro 1 way...but we just can't help any more, coz 1stly, it's quite cheap compared to we rent a car, and have to drive on the left hand side..and 2ndly, we were having pain all over our body after 2 days walking:p
k~ back to the cruise~ We started our cruise at Dangadoff, and ends at Passau. We have our lunch, or I should say brunch on board...quite a luxury...but~ all we spend is mostly on food...so~ food is the thing we enjoyed most everywhere:p The cruise was exciting at the beginning, hoping to see nice view, scenery and buildings we can't see in Malaysia~ Then...after an hour or so~ the cruise became boring~~When the "boring" mood reaches its tip~ suddenly, every1 on board went to the top deck, maybe coz of some announcement made bout something interesting...BUT, in German -.-''' however, we, the 3 smart ppl, can also see wat's happening and wat's that interesting thing~ a gate, which separates 2 different levels of water on a river, making the water level reach the level of the other side before the cruise ship can sail~ And THAT is the peak of the whole cruise.
**Note that the gate in this pic above is opening, and the water level at the beginning is on the top, where the colour of the wall is darker, which is wet...(hope u guys know wat I am trying to say)
