Face is something very important in Chinese/Asian culture~ it is so important that even if we fell in public, the first thing that come into our mind is: are there ppl watching me while I fall or how do I hide myself immediately, than did I injure myself.
To boost bout ourselves is another thing that show others that we have "face". There are lots of examples as in different locations:
-In classical coffee shops, ppl "talk empty"(cakap kosong) bout something as in: analysis of political issue in their own way. Sometimes, when I over heard their conversation, its so funny but, from there, I take up a bit from the ppl's point of view and then analyse my thoughts in a better way, seeing a bigger picture.
-In traditional market, this auntie will tell that auntie how many marks her child got in sch, or the position of her child in sch, then compare hers and the other aunties. Even to compare price of a bunch of vege she bought yesterday some where else, which is like 10cents cheaper than the other auntie bought.
-In office, talking bout econ in the share market way. Saying bout how much my share went up yesterday and stuff.
Its all bout the good things ppl boost about, but when it comes to the bad things, they will still boost, but by turning points that looks bad to be seemingly as if nothing actually knock on his/her head.
HUMBLE~ is the word that all of us have to learn, BUT, not to the extreme that we keep everything to ourselves, thinking that sharing is showing off.
Its hard to get a balance, I know~ but then, just try not to make urself stand up, without even estimating ur own capability, or who are u/where r u standing comparing to the ppl u are talking to.

Trio
What will it become if a trio that makes up of a perfectionist, a late and a whatever?
Well, things get into place quite Ok since donno when, its because even though the 3 of them have different kind of attitude and different down-side and up-side of them, they have some little force that put the 3 of them together~ its kind of unexplainable, but the force just exist O.o Of coz, there are times that they get onto each others nerves, but things are sorted out quickly^.^
This it the latest outcome after emotionally struggle through the "cooperation" :p
Simple, yet successful in a way ^.^

Countries
Did u know that how many countries are there on earth?
244!!!!
There are 244 of them and at the age of 22, I have been to 10 of them, which is 4.1% of them~ including the 1 I am staying in....erm is this considered an achivement??
It doesn't really matters much and does not differs much if I go to some where near, like Taiwan or Hong Kong, or even Singapore, or Malaysia itself, the things that matters is wat I've learn in each trip.
BUT~~I wan to go Sweden!!!! O.o

Well, I quite take that whole phrase into application, coz, its better to know things earlier, even though it doesn't help much, and I don't even understand a single word of anything told to me.
Remember that during year 2 sem 1, during A&P lecture, Dr. Kim taught us bout the ICAM and VCAM in the endothelium attachment~that time, she say~ this is too complicated, u all don't have to know the mechanism yet, u just have to remember the role of ICAM and VCAM in endothelium attachment.
but then, till now, looking at the notes with the mechanism of ICAM and VCAM, its still the same, = it donno me, I donno it.
So~ wat's the meaning of~ "u don't have to know the mechanism yet"? Its still the same if we know the mechanism from the beginning wat~ (p/s: I am not saying that she is wrong, maybe she did told us the mechanism, but I didn't remember >.<)
The same principle apply to teaching kids or telling kids things~ its like~ old ppl always say that the kids are too small to understand things we adults know, but, I still stand firm that even though they don't get the exact idea, they can adapt to the changes better than us adult, coz in their world, things are as simple as ABC~
e.g. when I was still in primary, my dad always tell me things that he learn in his world, when talking to his client~ he once told me that one of his client asked him, "u tell me that things are like this, this and this and move like this~ wat if we move back a few step and look around, will things work out better?"
Well, how can a primary sch gal me know how to interpret that whole situation? I just remember the whole story he told me, and remember that he say he learned something from there~ so~after that, when I encounter some situation that I can apply this, I then truely understands the whole idea.
There are a lot more e.g., but this is one that I can now think of^.^
Conclusion, its not a must to understand, but to apply and to adapt that one gains.

Post-election Teh tarik
Its a week after polling day~ but the heat is still on~ after all, its the 1st time in 50 years of independence history of Malaysia that 5 states got into the hands of the opposition, which is good in the sense that the people of Malaysia is no longer fear of the power that the government has, and make their decision and voice out their dissatisfactions towards the control of the Malaysian politics by "tut".
The dissatisfaction is not towards a race, or towards things and plans that have been said and done by the ex-government, but, its to voice our say in a very democratic way~ its all depends on how the ex-gov analyse and think of wat we, the people of Malaysia want to say in the ballots. However, to my disappointment, the people in the gov have misinterpret the voice of Malaysia, the current opposition have been opposing in a very childish way that even me, that doesn't know lot bout politics think that they are just having dilemma over the result of the GE2008.
Well, taking up the seat as an opposition after so many years being those who govern, its hard to take the fact in a very positive way, but then, as a politician, and being those who wants to work for the people of Malaysia and being the people that taking the position to govern the country or state, isn't that u guys have to have the mature enough brain to see things~ after all, being politician's main motive isn't it to bring the best for the people of Malaysia, and not only to see the advantage of ur own self and at the same way, being sooo~childish that u "发兰扎" over the loss o ur party???
I just can't get it~ its one thing that I hate so much bout politics~lost one's self after getting a position in political party, or forgot bout one's motive of being a politician after getting the seat he/she strive for, being sooo~dramatic over issues that is small enough not even to kill an ant~
Lets sit back for a minute or 2 just to think bout what politics' motive actually is about~
Soooo~ disappointed towards those ppl that we, the people of Malaysia have been supporting for the past 50 years~ lucky enough that the opposition win 5 states, but is it also unlucky for them? Its all we can do as a Malaysian~ thru the ballots and getting ppl to misunderstand our voice>.<
P/s: yea~ all bloggers are women and we eat too full that we can only move our fingers on the keyboard~ What can we do and where can we say wat we think so that ppl around the country and around the world could hear us? Blogs are the best place to be~

爱情与面包
当正在爱的水生火热的时候，两人要分割两地，或两人的差距越来越远， 或两人的思想上的成长变得不一致， 那时，就是考虑爱情或面包的时候。
一开始，两人总是会想，可以的，会有结果的~我们不会有改变的~但~我现在觉得，面包始终较实际， 因面包不会辜负你，不会骗你，你也不用顾虑这或那的~又能填饱肚子，让你继续向前冲刺~虽然，在爱情里是互相的，两者都付出同等的爱，但，就是。。。总之，就是现在，我抱着的是面包，爱情，眉尖都没看到~
可能，我对爱的观念已大大的改变，抱着面包，却又担心把面包抱得太紧~ So~继续冲刺！！

Democracy
水可以载舟，亦可以覆舟（water can float a boat, can also over turn a boat)~
That's how democracy works~and this is how opposition takes over 5 states in this 12th election. Its all depends on how u act and wat u do as a government to govern the country and how many things that u let the people know and how much things u would want to cover under the bed sheets.
As ppl of Malaysia, I think that we, as part of the country, knows how to judge and have thoughts of our own, not only say yes and nod on everything u tell us~
Lies become part of our culture, that makes newspapers only have the date and day correct, other contents in it are 70-80% nonsense. Of coz, it's all based on how u see things and judge the whole image, and not to follow every word written and heard.
So~ with the new page of history of Malaysia, starting today, practice wat is rite~Bring the best out of ur pocket for the Malaysians for the good of us all~
Don't Play Play~"We know wat u did last Summer"^.^

Election
It's the day to cast ur vote, and do something for Malaysia as a Malaysian^.^
This is my 1st time voting~ erm~ quite interesting....having the paper and pencil in ur hands that decides the future of Malaysians^.^
Well~ I voted for "tut" "tut" and "tut" "tut"....haha~ private and confidential ma~ nobody knows who voted for who exactly, and in that case, its well~ just lock in to malaysia kini for the latest news la~
hehe~ very excited bout the result....
Its all over d~ so~ I would like to share some pictures with u~
Its M** R**P** on the road~ trying to make the whole road theirs, blocking the whole 2 lane road, just to make way for all those "tut" "tut".

Today's special
Today's special on the menu is ~~ chiang chiang~~ Bibimbap^.^
Its something like "nasi campur", but the campur is very campur de~ meaning, u really have to use ur spoon to mix everything on the rice with the rice till thorough, then only start eating. Sounds very geli, but it is really delicious~
I tried to make it as Korean as possible, by having it with KimChi, and with a small plate of "ikan bilis" as side dishes.
It ended up quite beautifully~ but the taste~erm not quite that eaten in Korea, but similar, not too bad to swallow, since my mom who have quite a taste bud did not say that it is tasteless or that it is geli like wat my dad made the week before^.^ hehe~
Will post the pic of the dish I made in 2 day's time~ so~ just try to imagine it first~
p/s: big bro haven't have his dinner~ I wonder how he thinks of the dish+.+

CNY Bird
The sound of the "CNY Bird" can still be heard even though CNY has past d~
The bird is named "CNY bird" coz it only can be heard around the period of CNY~ It always sounded "wu wor~ wu wor~" ^.^
Hope they know their way back to where they have to be during summer~ if not, they will just die here coz of the weather and become extinct.

Feel bad~
I am a bit guilty of being soooo....determined to go home this weekend, I mean~ the middle of the week. Its not only the guilt to go home, but the guilt that makes the Lecturer, Dr. Hii to make the test on Thursday and have to be hated by the whole class just because of a few of us in class is even worse~
Well~ humans have to be selfish rite? have to think of themselves b4 thinking for others~ that's how to survive in this society rite? so~ its how I do it~ U all are selfish also rite? think that u urself can't make the time to study or watever excuses u made up for urself~ then wan me and the few of us to be considerate?? No Way~
Since the date was already set and notify since centuries ago, theres no excuse to make that u can't do this and that. I can, y can't u?
Watever is the only word~ if u want to shoot me, wan to hate me, go ahead~ BUT, just shoot me with words la~ not gun^.^Shoot me in my frenster comment or my blogger comment, and let the whole world knows that u hate me that much, if that can make u feel better^.^

There are ppl out there that are very conscious bout how they are being look upon, and how they have to act in front of different different ppl. In their state of mind, they classify ppl into different classes with different status in the society, or I should say, the status in their own opinion, which is from the sense of money and name.
With this, this "kind" of ppl, they "need" and not "acquire" branded goods and stuff to make themselves look classy and not out dated, so as to not being "look down" by ppl surrounding them. Its like, I have to have a huge MPV newer version than urs so that u are so impressed that I am part of the classy and not in the lower level of status. Or, to dress up in branded "Gu**i", taking "L*" or to use some lastest model of "N*k*a" or best functioned "S*ny Err*cs*n" phone instead of using just 3310 still~
And there are times, that even they might feel that pasar malam clothes or clothes that are sold in shopping mall in a "dump" bin are comfortable to be worn, but, since they have no name on them, they just feel not rite to wear them to functions or just to meet up some frens or so~
For me and my family, we can just wear a sampah t-shirt, which is so worn out, that the rubber on the collar and sleeves go so loose, the colour of the shirt is half of that when it was first bought, or if the clothes are worn 3-5 years or even 10 years already, plus, a simple short and a sandal~ off we go to supermarkets or shopping malls~
There is nothing to be shy of when ppl asked me, where did I get my shirt~ Is just a simple answer~from a "dump" bin somewhere~ or its like I have been wearing my "uni-going" shirts since I first went to UM, and then switch to UTAR, but there is nothing to be afraid of anyone's look or questions.
Yet, even me and big bro is wearing that kind of clothes out of the house, we still are not being look down upon, saying that we didn't carry a branded bag or our clothes is far too "rubbish" to be worn out.
Ok, better e.g.~ y should I get the attention of the sales ppl in the shopping mall by wearing something sophisticated, when I can simply browse through shops unnoticed, unserved, and just shop at my own pace?
Hehe~p/s: don be so perasan that u think I am talking about u, its just that I saw someone that don want to "chai" me just becoz he/she's wearing something branded so that ppl won't "look down" on him/her
